Zen Meditation, or 'Zazen', is a traditional art of contemplation with roots in the Eastern philosophies of Buddhism and Taoism. Guided movement practices (Qigong) and immersion in tradtional practices followed in Zen monasteries create a potent and positive atmosphere, where we find access to our pure original life-energy, which has its source within us. Through centering and experiencing simple meditation techniques, we can clearly distinguish the flowing energy in our bodies and activate our regenerative and self-healing powers. Experiences and stories from the monastery, and descriptions of encounters with the Zen Master are offered as philosophical background.

“In Mark's workshops, I settled down and also entered nto mindful exchanges with others. I gained a lot of new strength from these days of silence and practice. My doubts about life have diminished and I have felt my own body filled with more vitality after Qigong, sitting together and absorbing the words spoken. I am very grateful for this.” A.
